At NEOBIOTA 2026 in Brussels, I presented first-author doctoral research on the use of roadside monitoring and spatially explicit agent-based modelling to explore long-term management strategies for Ailanthus altissima in Mediterranean road corridors.

The work examines how intervention logic, treatment location and residual invasion patterns influence long-term outcomes, with the aim of making modelling results more useful for management decisions.
